When you think of men, body hair removal is usually not the first thing that comes to mind. But, if you have ever seen a bodybuilding competition, you will notice that they all had no hair on their bodies. Bodybuilders know that hair removal is an important factor in any bodybuilding competition to show off the muscular physique they have worked so hard for in the gym.
There are many different ways that you can remove hair from the body. You can use laser hair removal, sprays, waxing, or shaving with a razor. Laser hair removal is very effective, but you have to make an appointment with a doctor or technician to perform this expensive procedure. Hair removal with laser also requires several procedures throughout the year to remain hairless. Commercial hair removal sprays have been used, but many people have been disappointed because of noticing poor or no results. Waxing is a good form of hair removal, but is only for people who can tolerate extreme pain. The technique that is used most often is shaving with a razor, and the shower is usually the best place perform the body hair removal process.
The first step is to use hair clippers, if you are shaving for the first time and have an excessive amount of body hair. After shaving with the hair clippers, you will notice hair stubble all over your body. Next, you will lather your entire body with shaving cream and began shaving with a razor until you are completely hairless. Assistance from another person may be needed for those hard to reach areas, such as the back.
The day after shaving, you may notice that your skin may become irritated, and you may see small red bumps. The best way to alleviate discomfort after shaving is to lubricate the skin with a soothing moisturizer or body lotion.
Shaving can be a tedious process, but it is also the most inexpensive and quickest way to remove hair from your body. To maintain the best results, you will have to repeat this process of shaving at least every 5-10 days.
